Swimmers of the Week
SWIMMERS OF THE WEEK!
6&Unders:
Emerson Jockel!
Our boys 6&under swimmer of the week is Emerson Jockel! This is only Emerson’s second year of swimming, and he always shows up to practice with a big smile on his face, ready to jump in and work hard. Even when things get a little chaotic in the water, Emerson stays focused and patiently waits at the wall for his next lap. Not only is he an excellent listener, but he is also incredibly independent. During our meet this past weekend, Emerson swam all of his events without any assistance and absolutely crushed it! What makes Emerson even more special is the way he supports his teammates. Outside the pool, he was cheering them on and bringing them towels after their races. Congratulations, Emerson! We are so proud of your hard work, positive attitude, and team spirit. Keep up the great work!
Colette Cuzner!
Our 6&Under girl swimmer of the week is Colette Cuzner! Coco is such a joy to have at practice every day. From her contagious giggles to her genuine excitement about swimming, Coco is a fantastic addition to our team this year. As a first year swimmer, Coco started out knowing next to nothing about swimming, but through consistent participation and hard work, she has greatly improved. At the meet this weekend, Colette swam the freestyle and backstroke and she absolutely killed it in both. Coco is such a sweetheart with a feisty attitude and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Congratulations!
